E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid (2015)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 13.0 km/litre (7.7 L/100 km), Diesel, Mileage: 750 km/month
    - Lots of safety features (e.g. auto park, auto brake, collision warning)
    - Able to go from KL-Penang-KL or KL-Singapore-KL in one tank with plenty to spare / remaining
    - Good price due to tax exemption for hybrid vehicles
    - 360 camera view
    - Hands-free boot open / close
    - Overall size is a tad large.
    - Suspension is too low and soft for our Malaysian roads (it hits the bottom very frequently on regular speed bumps)
    - Cannot disable the Auto Start / Stop
    - Boot space slightly limited due to the hybrid battery compared to regular E-class
    - Missing out on the auto drive feature in the S400 Hybrid, lane departure warning/assist and blind spot warning
To Improve
- Change the suspension. The current lowered AMG sports suspension is not suitable for the car and our Malaysian roads
- LED headlamps are not as good as Xenon HID headlamps
Yes, I would recommend this car

E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid (2015)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 12.1 km/litre (8.3 L/100 km), Diesel, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    - Good acceleration due to the enormous torque of the hybrid diesel engine.
    - Good fuel efficient. I need to refuel roughly 3 weekly. Fuel consumption is an average of 8.75 L/100km which is quite far from the 4.1l/100km advertised but I drive mainly 80% city. My Pug 308T needs an average 12-13L/100km for the same driving pattern.
    - Tax-free
    - Large rear legroom
    - Boot is also huge, can fit a stroller with 3 large bags
    - Loads of input option for the in-car entertainment (USB, SD Card, Media Interface). It can also play DVD-Video (but only when the car is not moving)
    - Rear entertainment display can be used to play separate DVD's and useful for the children during long journeys
    - Insulation is very good. Can barely hear road and tire noises.
    - Rear windows and rear windscreen shades are very useful during those hot Malaysian days.
    - Collision Prevention Assist with Brake Assist has helped me from rear-ending cars
    - Suspension: too soft and wallows on Malaysian road. Undercarriage tends to scrape against humps and higher gradient slopes.
    - Seats not as comfortable as my Pug 308Tys
    - In-built GPS navigation is basically useless
    - Rear seat entertainment means no place to put a 'teh-tarik'hook
    - Air flow from the rear B-pillar air-conditioning vents quite weak
To Improve
- The suspension needs to be changed. Rebound is too soft.
- Needs to upgrade the Comand GPS system to one more user-friendly
Yes, I would recommend this car
