    1. Very good value in used market now. For the asking price, you get a relatively new, modern, well equipped BMW.
    2. It is properly modern. It has the latest BMW engine, platform, so it is well built and refined. They are all fully imported Germany, so the build quality is impressive.
    3. Very practical family car. Good space for all passengers, plenty storage options, durable comfortable genuine leather, spacious boot.
    4. Very well equipped. You get auto LED headlamp, auto wiper, auto dim rear view mirror, powered tailgate, interior mood lighting, high definition reverse camera with moving steering guidelines, auto park assist, dual zone climate control, comfort access keyless entry, electric parking brake, electrically adjusted front driver and passenger seats etc. Even in 2023, this is a very generously equipped car.
    5. Drives very well for a front wheel car. It's basically a MINI in BMW clothing, which is famed for having fun to drive characteristic.
    6. It's cute for a BMW! Its compact dimension makes it easy to maneuver in city, yet still composed at high speed on highways. Despite being smaller than a 3 series, it's even more spacious and the boot is more usable than the sedan.
    7. My car has 6-speed manual transmission. Properly fun to drive as you, as the driver are in full control! There's very limited units with 6MT, so it's a very special feeling to own one!
    1. Rare, a sales flop. This can be a bit worrying to source for parts should you need to replace them.
    2. Not the most powerful nor economical engine. It's decent for day to day, which may be underwhelming if you're expecting a full-on BMW driving experience.
    3. They're all above 5 years old, warranty has expired. You're on your own with care for this car.
    4. A bit high maintenance cost, as expected from a premium brand like BMW.
To improve
Not much can be improved given it's a niche that didn't work well here. BMW Malaysia discontinued it, did not even sell the facelift. If you're looking for an Ultimate Driving Machine to blast up and down highways, Genting, back roads, it's not that. However if you're looking for a premium family car, it's a pretty good car. Good space, comfort, fun to drive, very well equipped, cheap RM 90 road tax, very good price in used market, it's very likely to put a smile on you and your loved one's face. Quite unlike anything else in the market can offer such versatile packaging of fun, luxury and practicality in one car.
