Marcus C
xDrive30i M Sport (2022)
Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 10.0 km/litre (10.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,100 km/month
-The power from the 2.0l is adequate, giving that the car is used in Sabah(yes we get alot of hilly terains). Going up steep hills even in 'Comfort' mode and gear position in D, the car goes effortlessly.
-xDrive reaction is quick. It can be felt almost instantaneously. As I have to go up a small slopped driveway to my home, sometimes one of the wheel is slightly lifted off the ground, if my approach angle is wrong, xDrive system stops the said wheel from spinning and pushes the car forward. The electronics can be heard getting the job done.
-Good driving dynamics as expected from a BMW. Corners can be taken with minimal body roll.
-No rear reclining seats
-No surround view cameras, whereas competitors of the same category come. With them
-Passive M Sport suspension can be a bit harsh for rear passengers. Have got passengers saying that it is abit bumpy.
-Rattling noise from the panoramic sunroof in tilt or open position when travelling on uneven roads. This was not present during the first 3-5 months of owning the car. The noise came after 6 months of ownership.
-No NFC key card / wireless charger for my vehicle's production period (cheaper models like the 330i have them).
To Improve
Perhaps BMW could be more generous by including more comfort and practical features like rear side sun blinds, surround view cameras etc to make it on par with the competition.
Yes, I would recommend this car
