2.4 HS (2018)
Bought new, Owned for 6 Years
Fuel Economy: 10.0 km/litre (10.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    1) Exterior design - Very American looking design from outside. Commands good road presence. And somehow the design looks good regardless of whichever color u choose (Mine is black color, but the copper color looks equally eye catching)
    2) Stable on the road driving manners. Driving dynamics exude confidence and the car feels less wobbly on twisty roads. I would say it drives better than Hyundai Santa Fe and Nissan X-Trail but not as good as Volkswagen Tiguan
    3) Spacious interior. The 3rd row can accommodate adults even for longer journeys. We drove to Terrengganu from KL with 6 of us onboard and our luggage. No issues with space
    4) Adequate power, even under full load. Have climbed Genting multiple times with full load.
    5) Relatively good reliability and spare parts availability. No major issues throughout 8 years of ownership.
    6) Good creature comforts - Rear a/c vents, plenty of storage spaces, USB charging ports and comfortable seats
    7) AWD capability, which came in quite handly at multiple instances when I was climbing steep hills and light off road tracks for occasional camping trips
    1) No Active Safety features, although the passive safety features are pretty good for the class
    2) Ground clearance is quite low surprisingly for an SUV (If I'm not mistaken, it's only 175mm). By right, an SUV should have minimum 200mm ground clearance. I have scraped the underbody a few times when going through rough roads.
    3) NVH level is quite average. The refinement level of this car is sadly no match to the Mazda CX-8 or VW Tiguan, but comparable to Honda CRV and Nissan X-Trail.
    4) Buggy infotainment system - Bluetooth connection sometimes not stable, the screen won't display the song name, microphone quality pretty terrible as well. No Android Auto & Apple Carplay connectivity (obviously)
    5) Interior Fit and Finish on this car is surprisingly not as good as what I've seen on cheaper Kias like the Picanto, Rio and Cerato. The gear knob button has broken, materials feel hard and scratchy, door unlock button came loose. Overall, I feel my Cerato and Rio has stood up the abuse slightly better.
    6) Some missing features which were available in other cheaper Kia models, despite being Kia's flagship product. E.g. Sunroof (Available in Rio), Ventilated seats (Available in Cerato), Android auto/apple Carplay (Available in Picanto) etc
    7) 2.4 NA petrol engine is rather thirsty. Best case scenario is 10-11 KM/L. Power output isn't great either (174 PS, 224 Nm) for such a large displacement engine that costs so much in road tax (On hindsight, should have bought the 2.2L Turbodiesel variant as it has proven reliability and cheaper running costs)
To Improve
1) After sale service. Naza was hopeless. Hope Bermaz is doing a better job.
2) Higher ground clearance/Taller stronger suspension would have been more ideal for a large SUV like this
3) Better infotainment system
4) Active safety, especially AEB.
Yes, I would recommend this car

2.2D CRDi HS (2017)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 6.0 km/litre (16.7 L/100 km), Diesel, Mileage: 400 km/month
Sits 7 people comfortably. With torque of 441nm nothing will get in your way. Fuel consumption is superb even with euro 2 diesel. But for more refine & powerr used euro 5. Look stunning & muscular. Get it it black or white. Not the browny orange colour. Feel like driving the normal car but you sit higher. Interior is superb with full leather and solid built. Value for money indeed with great rebate too
Wheel is 19inch which is stunning but high maintainance as usual. Not a true 4x4 which you can bring to the jungle but it will survive urban jungle no problem. It can park itself but you rarely use it
To Improve
True 4x4 capability will be great addition. Plus the latest toys for example adaptive cruise control
Yes, I would recommend this car
