comfortable, spacious, eye catching, wonderful anti gravity seats, lots of tech, fast charging, fast acceleration, good build quality
weird usb port for carplay, bumpy when the roads are yuck, would love for the car to be slightly higher, Bose sound system mediocre
To Improve
better sound system, more suv like height, better usb placement for carplay etc or just use wireless carplay would be awesome, stiffen the suspension for malaysian roads
Yes, I would recommend this car

Fuel Economy: 7.0 km/litre (14.3 L/100 km), Electric, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
Spacious and reasonable price range buyer can choose
City drive easily over 400km, higher than WLTP claimed
    Adjustable rear seat
    V2L
Super fast charging. 10min charging at 180kW charger, can add more than 200km
High efficiency for the i-Pedal regeneration.
Tried on Genting Highland to Gombak toll, from 3% regen to 16%
low efficient on highway due to the car weight almost 2000kg
No Bluelink, cant view info of vehicle in the phone app
Have to bring along the car key, cant unlock/lock thru phone
To Improve
Bring in Long Range with RW model.
Remote thru the phone or Bluelink services is needed in Malaysia.
At unmatured EV infrastructure country, bigger battery size is the primary consideration.
Every Hyundai showroom should install DCFC to provide Hyundai EV owner charge at lower price like at Ara Damansara, Hyundai HQ.

An EV that ticked the most boxes satisfies all the desired criteria on most people's wish lists, Spacious interior, great tech especially 5 levels of regen mode to choose from, it's awesome to get used to the I-pedal drive mode just make your life a lot easier, great performance, smooth and quiet ride, all the 3 models come with the full spec of safety features, 800v battery system great for DC charging, quite an eye-catching looking car, especially the back part of the car.
Too many features are being taken away in Malaysia spec, consider an award-winning car yet unfortunately, the Malaysia specification lacks several features without any additional options or customizations available. For example the head-up display, the big paranormal sunroof, and the choice of the long-range battery pack.
No software or infotainment system update, No bluelink (mobile app) available in Malaysia, No usb-c, not too friendly for right-hand drive design, the seating position adjustment can be challenging due to the positioning of the screen and steering wheel.
To Improve
Isolation can be improved, suspension can be a little smooth, and there is limited support from Hyundai Malaysia in terms of software updates, bluelink features, and a relatively short two-year default warranty period, which can be disappointing for potential buyers.

Comfortable. Eye catching. Tech is great. Great screens. Fast charging. Awesome zero gravity chairs.
Weird location and slow usb ports. Suspension too bumpy on bad roads and bumps. Mediocre Bose sound system.
To Improve
Sound system. Wireless CarPlay. Better suspension set up. Higher ground clearance

The space! I have always driven large diesel cars, from the Prado to the Pajero as well as two Hilux as I always appreciate spaces in my cars. And this Ioniq 5 ; is just the best go-to-work and city car for me to ensure I dont get that claustrophopic feeling :)

The acceleration! Coming from someone who has always driven Diesel cars, naturally this direct step to electric motors makes me soooo happy.

The tech and safety! The ioniq 5 really is packed with all the required safety features and it didnt take me long to appreciate all the warning systems and alerts if there was any potential risks nearby.
    There is no Blue Link!!

amazing looks, relatively efficient kWh consumption. very spacious interior. super fast 800V charging
abit big and hard to maneuver cos of the super long wheelbase. feel like steering abitttt too far from me. prefer if can extend the telescopic abit more. front center armrest feels too high for comfort.
To Improve
pls bring in the ioniq 5 N!!! and add adaptive dampers maybe, soft/hard adjustable would be great
