The eighth-generation ES arrives on the revised XZ20 platform, teased by Lexus Malaysia ahead of an imminent launch with an estimated starting price around RM367,000. Malaysia is confirmed for hybrid power only - the ES 300h with Lexus' sixth-generation hybrid system - with no EV variants indicated.

The new car grows substantially (5,140 mm long on a 2,950 mm wheelbase) and previews a minimalist cabin with hidden-until-lit dashboard controls, up to two displays including an optional front passenger screen, twin-L daytime running lights and a full-width rear light bar.
