2.2 AT High Spec (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 3 Years
Fuel Economy: 8.9 km/litre (11.2 L/100 km), Diesel, Mileage: 3,000 km/month
- Its a 2.2 diesel but is more powerful than a Hilux, achieving speed limit is a breeze although pickup is a tad slower
- Fuel consumption is really good, given the power and torque
- Safety feature for this pickup truck is amazing, Traction control is available
- Carrying load and towing is so much better than a 3.0 Isuzu Dmax
- Comfort is good enough, Triton is better
- Handling for a pickup is the best comparing to all pickup available in Malaysia
- Cruise control
- Cheaper than a Ford Ranger T6 albeit the looks
- Aircond actuator is a problem, although Mazda fixed it within reasonable time frame
- Standard tyres are atrocious, only good for tarmac
- Service parts shares the same with Ford Ranger T6 but price is higher
To Improve
- Please provide owner the choice to purchase fully synthetic engine oil which are compatible for a diesel engine, current semi synthetic is not good enough
No, I would not recommend this car
