The EQS 500 4Matic was the first Mercedes-Benz EV to be locally assembled in Malaysia, replacing the imported EQS 450+ at the top of the electric sedan range. Dual motors produce 443 hp and 828 Nm, with a 108.4 kWh battery rated for up to 696 km.

Over the 450+ it adds all-wheel drive and considerably more performance, retaining the 17.7-inch OLED MBUX touchscreen, adaptive cruise control with steering assist and eleven airbags.
