1.6 VVT Executive CVT (2021)

Fuel Economy: 16.0 km/litre (6.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,500 km/month
    I took delivery of the car in July 2021, and it has been 3 years since. The Iriz is a nice driving car and really enjoyable around the corners. The car features a lot of improvement over its predecessor in terms of NVH, fit and finishing quality. Performance is alright, the Punch CVT received quite an improvement that there is now almost no delay when accelerating. There is far less rubber band feel as well. The seat is I think the best in the segment, really comfortable for long journey. Overall easy car to maintain and drive.
    I think the major improvement that can be made to the car is its fuel consumption. On highway, it's pretty alright and I can easily get 6l/100km @ 110kmh. If you go beyond 120kmh, it sips quite a lot of fuel. Town driving is also not that efficient and you will need to be really light on the throttle. The engine itself is pretty much an old tech, when Perodua is already going for Dual VVT. It lacks a lot of active safety features, in which Perodua is offering to the Myvi. Interior space is pretty small as well compared to its competitor.
