1.5L E AT (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 12.0 km/litre (8.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
The only advantages for this car is you can get a b-segment 1.5 japan sedan car with most cheap price compare to honda city, vios..
Not stable when drive more than 110km/h and feel shaky when pass by lorry/bus during cruise at 110km/h
Come out weird sound when open air-cond. (2 month after purchase)
Giving out terrible sound when brake.(6 month after purchase)
radiator fan spoil just after 20k service(8month after purchase)( cost me RM500 plus gst) and now still wait for spart-part(3-week)..
felt no power when want to accelerate.
    boot has no light.

QUALITY IS LIKE OUR LOVELY NATIONAL CAR (PROT**)
i will NEVER buy NISSAN car again..

1.5L VL AT (2014)

Fuel Economy: 13.0 km/litre (7.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,500 km/month
    Space. Tons of it!
    Tons of it too!!
    Poor built quality.
    Wheel bearing fail on 13mth
reserve camera + DVD fail on 15mth
Radiator fan motor fail on 21mths.
Some loose fitting vibrates when over poor surface.
Expensive to maintain due to high service cost.
    10K = Rm1xx
    20K = RM 2xx
    30K = RM 3xx
    40K = RM8xx
    50K = Rm3xx
To Improve
Gave up on Nissan car CKD by Tan Chong.
Relatively attractive pricing.
But there's a catch, poor built quality and expensive after sales.

1.5L VL AT (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 10.5 km/litre (9.5 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,250 km/month
-Ample of leg space for me and my passengers
-Fuel save i guess its cheap if u maintain your average (AVG) below 10-9.
-Very comfortable suspensions. (good for family/old ppl)
    -Lots of cup holders (y)
    -Big boot space
-initial 3rd to 5th service is cheap (RM90 to RM250).
-had child seat clips and center arm rest at the back
-No access to the bonnet from the back seat. would be great if they have allowed seat folding.
-very thin suspension (I dont think it can withstand daily heavy weight lifting >.<). i understand we cant get everything for this price.
-Accessories are to expensive were else aftermarket products are so much more cheaper (bodykit, steel door plat...)
-Tire size is small (easy to skid) (can be solved by getting wider JJ rims.
    - Car goes bouncy after 130KM/h .. not a big issue as this car is not meant for racing and malaysia roads are not meant to be driven more then that. (can be overcome by adding some things/acc to car , stabilizer bar , stiff ring)
    - The design of the dashboard for a big round plastic which i dont see the purpose as the airbag is actually on top of it .. looks like a frog face.
-O/D only has effect on higher speeds. the performance is better without O/D when we drive slower
-Paint is easy to chip off , i think this is common for all new cars.
To Improve
-Foldable back seats as at least the center arm rest has quick access to the back like how sentra has.
-Thicker suspensions and wider tyres to provide confidence to the drives
- Allow O/D to activate even in lower speed.
- Thicker paints in the front and prone areas.
- bundle in USB in the basic radio! even proton basic had usb radio.

    - many cup holders
    - suspension is nice and comfortable (suitable for old people)
    - fuel efficient (RM 78 can go up to 650km for 100% highway)
    - large boot space
    - maintenance is cheap
    - steering will vibrate when cruising at high speed
    - glove box is too small
    - no centre arm rest
    - no boot light for E variant
    - no auto fold side mirror
    - knocking sound when switch on the air-cond during cold start
    - lack of power during uphill drive
    - 1 airbag for E variant
To Improve

    - large boot
    - affordable price compare other Japanese made
    - fast response gear shift
    - ideal for daily drive and family outing.

Fuel Economy: 11.0 km/litre (9.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    -Reasonable price, value for money
    -Spacious interior
-Although the interior feels cheap with all hard plastic, but the build is solid.
-Gear shifting is smooth and effortless
    -Fuel economy is good enough
    -Light steering
-Not a sportive looking car, but still a good looking car with soft and round line.
-Low cabin noise at below 120km/h
-In car audio player should come with USB and bluetooth, even Myvi equips with these functions, why not for Almera?
-Not stable at high speed (over 140km/h), only good for normal driving.
    -Underpower while climbing up hill.
-Not many colors to choose from.
    -Only 2 airbags the max.
-Without auto door lock for all variant. (looks like an essentials for me!)
-Almost no goodies for the entry E variant. Just plain car! (Push the sales for the V and VL variants?)

1.5L VL AT (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 10.0 km/litre (10.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    - After test driven the Vios and City, I chose this car mainly because its suspension comfort is way better than those two.
    - Easy to drive with light and pretty accurate steering wheel. Useful when driven around the city with junctions and interchanges.
    - The rear legroom is massive and generous. I can stretch my legs far enough, something that I wouldn't be able to do in a Mercedes C-Class. However I found that the shoulder room is tighter than the City.
    - Engine is smooth and purrs when pedal is pushed hard.. instead of screaming like what VTEC's Hondas would normally do. However, the power output is not as eager as the Vios or City.
    - Men always relate this car as "Sampan" and "Dugong MKII", but it looks pleasant and cute to my eyes, and perhaps other females. Undoubtedly less cute without Impul bodykits attached, of course.
    - Seats are quite small with lack of thigh support. Even my old Naza Suria's (2008) seats are more supportive and comfortable, despite the car being smaller A-segment hatch.
    - Lack of safety features which are becoming standard among foreign makes.
    - The dashboard plastics are quite below par compared to its rivals.
To Improve
- Tan Chong Motors (TCM), the official Nissan distributor, should really understand that safety is at the utmost importance of their customers. Side and curtain airbags and stability control should have been a 'standard' feature equipped to its fleet despite being an entry-level sedan.
- Cabin plastics quality is something that needs attention.
- A little bit pricey for an entry level B-segment sedan which brand image is still lagging behind the big T & H.

RON95, Mileage: 800 km/month
-The price(E AT) you can never get a japanese car at this price, Mitsubishi Attrage is way smaller and lack of power
    -the spaciousness of the car,
-fully customizable exterior(impul, nismo) and interior (leather seat +RM1800, etc),
    -smooth gearbox.
    -fuel efficiency
-most of the interior is plastic,
-the horsepower is lower compare to rivals,
-the boaty handling (as it is high and long),
    - lack of automatic folding side mirror,
-no boot lamp for E specs
    -one airbag for E specs
    -no armrest
To Improve
The quality control can be improved
-The bearing always has problem
-The exhaust pipe vibrates and touch the rear skirting.

Two airbags for all variants.
