2.0 (2013)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 11.0 km/litre (9.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,300 km/month
    -Surprisingly good NVH
    -Very comfortable leather seat
-Clean and luxury interior design with high quality leather trim at door panel, artificial wood trim decoration and good quality soft touch rubber on dashboard
-Solid car chassis for Japanese car at this segment
-Good road feedback on the steering thanks to Twin Orifice Vehicle Speed Sensing Power Steering (TOPS)
-Smooth cruising experience with Xtronic CVT
-Dual zone digital temperature aircond with rear aircond vent. Aircond's fan is powerful enough even at the lowest fan speed (3rd fan speed is required if rear aircond vent is being utilized)
-Comes with factory fitted Vkool Elite windows tint.
-Irritating Whining CVT during car's pickup from 0-40 KM/H, smooth cruising onwards that speed
    -No projector headlamp for 2.0
-No factory per-installed HID for 2.0
    -No keyless entry
-Comes with push start button but the car's key has to be slotted into the key holder in order to start the car.
    -2 front airbags only
-No active safety features like VDC or traction control which is very important live saving features.
-Boring amble light used across MID LCD display, interior buttons lighting
-Non leather stitched steering and gear knob
-No media control buttons on steering
-Shallow glove compartment and very limited storage space onboard. Door panel storage is totally non-useable due to odd design with cramp space.
-Poor rear passenger headroom for person with height of 180cm and above
-Very noisy glove compartment on uneven road. This has been known issue for most of the Nissan Teana's owners. To resolve, stuck some soft sponge on the closing ledge to prevent noise production.
-No color option for car's interior (only beige color for 2.0)
-Low quality front grille (2013 March facelift model). Grey paint coated material used on the front grille easily peeling off due to stone chip and dead bug, leaving ugly silver spots on it.
-Poor workmanship on the factory fitted Vkool Elite with bad after sales service from Vkool Malaysia.
To Improve
-Since this is an outgoing model as I am composing this review, I do not comment on the car's offering improvement required.
-TC's assembly line needs huge improvement in strengthening the QA/QC part to ensure higher customer satisfaction. I have receive my brand new Nissan Teana with defective rear bonnet due to poor assembly and QA/QC. This anyhow has been rectified after I have visited the service center for a fix.
-Branch's service improvement is required on new car delivering procedures and documentation readiness
-Service center and customer service responsiveness on minor warranty can be further improve by proactively calling the customer for progress update and appointment date arrangement for warranty execution
Yes, I would recommend this car
