1.6 Active CVT (2023)
Bought new, Owned for 3 Years
Fuel Economy: 9.0 km/litre (11.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 9 km/month
The Proton Iriz is an enjoyable car to drive. My brother uses it to go work from home to Cyberjaya and drives back and forth.
Ride and handling are really comfortable.
    Cold air conditioner.
The GKUI system is completely useless
The navigation system also gives the worst road
At 15K mileage the engine gasket started to leak
At 36K mileage, the car has a Terrible window actuator quality, I claimed warranty after that back right side got broken and well had to claim warranty again
    Not a fuel-efficient car
When I released the brake pedal to make the car move, the car's rpm literally dropped for no reason, as if it was tryna stall, even though the car was running on a CVT transmission.
No android auto and apple car play
To Improve
1. The car should be equipped with an ADAS system
2. Need android/apple CarPlay
3. Interior Quality need to be improved
4. The engine needed to be remapped to make it more fuel-efficient
5. The 6 airbag variant from the front passenger and driver side needs to be placed from the rear passenger just like Perodua
6. 4AT gearbox needs to be optional
No, I would not recommend this car

Quite heavy consumption in town traffic 8.0 to 9.0
Tyres noise at high speed No remote controlled boot or rear air cond plus armrest for passengers
To Improve

Yes, I would recommend this car

1.6 Executive CVT (2023)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 6.0 km/litre (16.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 500 km/month
    Solid Drive
It feels heavy in a good way
    nice and comfortable seats
generally very good refinement for the price
    stable on the road
the engine feels torquey, good midrange pull
CVT is very quiet compared to the shit show that was on the FLX
Very good FC despite being heavier than the competition and a 1.6..had an average of 4.9L/100km on my recent Penang trip adhering to speed limits
I feel the throttle response is kinda lazy , maybe to aid FC
although the CVT is a world better compared to previous models, it still has its own moments when it jerks on low-speed traffic
it comes with china made tyres , horrendous, first thing to change
being a proton with their past horror history, there's always that in your mind that something bad will happen
QC is around 8/10..it really shouldn't be considering the Iriz is a mature product by now
To Improve
Better throttle and CVT calibration
better QC won't be a bad thing
Yes, I would recommend this car

1.6 Executive CVT (2021)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 400.0 km/litre (0.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,200 km/month
The ride is very smooth. The CVT has improved a lot compared to the first generation.
The handling is amazing. The car is a joy to drive at high speeds and around corners. It's reassuring and stable yet fun and engaging. Puts a big smile on your face if you're someone who enjoys driving.
The build quality is really solid. The plastics are hard and firm.
Proton QC can be A LOT better. Less than 10k kilometers and almost 6 service center visits.
ADAS can be included as it was previously tested on the IRIZ but not sure why it's still not available.
A manual version with the 1.6 Engine in full spec would have been my personal pic of the range
I wouldn't recommend this car over the Myvi unless you're someone who enjoys driving
To Improve
Better QC on the vehicles
More modern features in terms of safety
No, I would not recommend this car
