R3 MT (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 10 Years
Fuel Economy: 5.0 km/litre (20.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 300 km/month
    Ride and handling is top notch. I occasionally have to drive long distances and this car is very comfortable. Reminder that this is the R3 variant with tuned suspension, upgraded cps engine and R3 bucket seats. Power is there when you want it, enough for overtaking and drive at 200km/h easily (sorry feds).
    Fuel consumption is quite bad, kl to melaka is about 30 liters. The door is heavy, my fingers are now nonexistent (haha). Boot space not that big but enough for a trip for two.
To Improve
Give a nicer looking interior and lighter doors.

R3 MT (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 12.7 km/litre (7.9 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    The car is great in handling! It feels zippy when going through traffic.
    Its a small car suitable for those who don't prefer driving with extra passengers.
    For the price you're paying, its quite a bargain.
    Upgrade-able with R3 Motorsport Division.
    Build quality is still poor.
    If you go with R3 upgrades (e.g. exhaust system, ECU and suspension), it will cost you a bomb.
To Improve
A turbocharged 1.6 Campro CFE engine mated with a 6-speed manual is all this car needs.

R3 AT (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 4 Years
Fuel Economy: 8.4 km/litre (11.9 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
    * handling yang mantap di selekoh
    * stereng yang sangat responsive
    * confident ketika high speed
    * maintenance service kos boleh di terima pakai, tak terlalu mahal
    * terasa kecik ketika mencelah dan mencilok

    * bunyi dalam kabin yang sgt bising bila drive melebihi 100kmh
    * radio sound sgt mengecewakan, 120kmh drive dah tak berapa jelas bunyi music apa
    * engine yang sangat kuat mengaum, seperti tiada firewall soundproof
    * tyre noise
    * top speed tak dapat cecah 180kmh untuk AT model walaupun telah 2x tukar ecu di proton edar
    * penggunaan minyak agak kuat, biasanya untuk RM50 ($2.10/ltr) hanya mampu drive 200km untuk city drive - average 8.0 L/100KM
    * brake terasa sedikit lari bila brake mengejut ketika sedang memotong / high speed
    * kedudukan meter eletronik yang terlalu ke bawah, tak nampak pada pandangan mata kalau stereng pada posisi tinggi even saya 5ft7" tall
To Improve
* sound proof improve
* economy fuel need to be improve
* high quality for interior
* lack of cabin space especially rear passenger
* increase year of car warranty to 5 years

R3 MT (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 15.0 km/litre (6.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,300 km/month
    - Superb and sporty handling
    - Good steering feel, sporty quick ratio steering
    - Acceptably powerful engine, with VTec-like setup
    - Good semi-bucket seat, nice driving posture
    - Lovely short-ratio gearbox
    - Sporty pedal positions, suitable for heel-and-toe
    - Aggressive bodykit on R3 version, with connections from the past legendary GTi
    - Aged exterior designs. Should have a refreshed or facelifted one with LED DRL and light-tube tail light
    - Build quality is quite low
    - Brake lacks feel, should have better (performance) brake for R3 version, especially bigger brake at the front
To Improve
- Throttle response could be improved, reduce reaction time in its drive-by-wire system (common issue for CamPro engine)
- Fuel consumption. Better economy with improved power output to suit current international regulation
- Could be better-equipped: front fog lights as standard, rear fog lights as those on export version, side airbags, traction control and electronic stability control
- Could be equipped with 6-speed manual gearbox, with short ratio on 1st, 2nd and 3rd (improves acceleration) and wide ratio for 4th, 5th and 6th (improves top speed and economy on high speed cruising)
Yes, I would recommend this car
