Latest Owner Review

1.5G (2023)
Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 14.0 km/litre (7.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,500 km/month
    - great fuel efficiency, full city drive in Klang Valley 14-15km/L, 1500km per mth.(I got add on spare tyre)
    - baby camry design really nice and impressive
    - good rear legroom and rear seat
    - DNGA handling is really good compared to its rivals (besides Mazda), improved A LOT from its old gen of Vios
    - comfort ride on Malaysia Road (pothole and uneven roads), another thumb up for Toyota able to maintain on its comfort suspensions while improve handling so much
    - practical design especially cup holders in front of air con vent, and position of the center console just nice for arm rest, obviously thumbs up for effort spent on practical design
    - D-CVT and it is well tune to much more responsive when it is in S mode, compare to the CVT of Sienta and Latio that i tried before, more responsive when over speed of 60km/h with gear
    - Well tuned for different driving habits need, ECO, Normal, PWR and S Mode.
    - Air Cond is really cooling and great for Msia weather, but not smart enough, set 28 degree but is like 20 degree during rainy days
    - auto lighting sensor always auto switched on even though is quite bright
    - wind noise, highly suspect caused by window rainguard, also rain noise
    - I still prefer 6AT than D-CVT. if Mazda 2 have Vios space I would have chosen Mazda 2 edy.
    - Auto Cruise is sucks compare to its rivals, its rivals all can do much much better job, Proton S60 can keep lane in the middle, dont tell me toyota technology is way behind Geely and Honda
    - door and windows really feel cheap, you may try close the door with the window open, feel like A segment car
    - no 60:40 fold, no spare tyre
    - rear seat head space due to fastback design, just for review, I actually prefer to have handsome fastback design than good headspace for rear seat
    - common problem of rain noise.
    - D-CVT like not so smooth to imitate AT, I felt much better after half year of driving
    - obvious bumby feel for rear seat passengers on uneven road design (Bukit Jalil Highway)
To improve
- pls improve better auto cruise. Don't always sell old technology with new price.
- time to upgrade dynamic force engine or 1.2T edy.
- for this price pls improve more on sound proofing material, most driver also rather to have better quality build of solid body than an auto cruise system that cannot be use. and some essential items such as spare tyre and 60:40 fold.
- Toyota Msia sounds funny for their reason to cut 60:40 back row car seat foldable, if majority buildings never use fire extinguisher or fire hose before, then can bomba allow us to cut this item? now made me so troublesome when carry my long items such as tv and stair for work to put on passenger seat which may damage seat cushion.
- will come back review again after 10 years to test its reliability of 300,000km brand.
Yes, I would recommend this car
