    It looks very handsome once washed and polished and waxed. Still an eye turner and I still love it for its looks. I like the 18 inch rims and that the seats are leather with premium feel. I like that its fully imported.
    I have the first batch of the car, in black. Like all dark colored paint, it is particularly prone to water marks and dust, prints and hairline scratches.     Horrible service. The car break down more than the 7 years old citra that it replace. Service Centre didn't bother to return call even after you leave message for 2 weeks. Report to Proton Facebook, promise to call but it is still an empty promise after like 1 month. Gearbox noisy.

    I bought mine during it's first launch back in 2007.
    Price was reasonable for a CBU model
    Since it was a GT version, it looks sporty and occasionally making people think that I bought a Lancer Evo X.
    It was spacious with good seats both front and back.
    Handling was pretty good given it's quite firm suspension.

    Engine sound isn't inspiring at all likely due to it being paired to a CVT
    Interior build quality is actually below par given it's a CBU
    Locally upholstered leather trim is also below par (uneven stitching and leather scar)
    Sound insulation is quite minimal (took it for sound proofing and can see only minimal insulation)

    Stable at high speeds, unlike other small cars.
    Have a decidedly European feel to the driving experience, as it should be as the car is very similar in spec to the one sold in European countries.

    At certain conditions, there is a slight, but noticeable torque dip, even when the car is lightly loaded.
    While it is not a fuel guzzler, the official quoted fuel consumption is rather optimistic.

    - 3 years BSRI is complete rip-off (free every 30k km only)
    - Quality control over CKD products
    - Constant squeaks in cabin even after rectify, again & again.
    - On 320i standard Bridgestone's tyres, it can get really slippery when wet.

    Overall I like the car handling and fuel efficient.. With the new CVT gearbox was smooth.. The built quality was good for CKD Japanese Brands in Malaysia. The handling better than the competitor. Braking is good enough while the rear was drum brake. Suspension wise is stiff but is comfortable for 5person.
    The front grille and the Bodykit... With high spec City V don't have shift paddle, gps and reverse camera..
