    - Stability at high speed and corners for an SUV
    - Good 6 speaker stereo system with clear sound and good bass even though not powered by BOSE (CKD)
    - Well balanced brake sensitivity for late braking drivers
    - At idle, engine emits a certain kind of sound which is not found on conventional cars/SUV
    - Easily cracked Windscreen which was labeled to be Pilkinton Toughened by rather small or not visible stones

    Huge boot.
    using multilink suspension.
    not to mention proton aircon is always the best
    4 disc break, ABS, EBD and 2 airbags!!!
    value for money for 1.6cc car.
    the back seat is too straight.
    for the SV edition lack of accessories the side mirror need to use hand to adjust.
    the door problem because of hard to close.

    Diesel economy cannot be matched at all. The torque is really good, making the car to be very easy to drive. You don't feel as though it is a lumbering SUV.

    Space in the Mk2 model is really good, with decent 3rd row seats. There are air conditioning vents in the last row.

    Safety features, considering the price and considering the sister car, the Sorento from KIA has 6 airbags, is quite lacking on the Santa Fe. You only get 2 airbags, ESP and ABS.
