I think this car is rated a little lower than how it should be. If I were to rate this car, i would give this car a 3 1/2 star rating.

First of all, before i bought this car i test drove a lot of suv in the same class, i test drove the 2013 Kia Sportage, 2013 Mitsubishi ASX, 2013 Mazda CX5 and 2013 Hyundai Tucson and none of these car could [...]
The are a few things that lacks in this car is like feature like Push-Start, Keyless entry, Automatic Headlamps and Windscreen wipers. Lacking of LED day time light to give a much sportier looks and also Projector headlamps.

Rear air-conditioning is also essential for this car since it has a spacious back passenger seats.

Fuel Economy: 10.2 km/litre (9.8 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,500 km/month
    -safety features
    -compact in size
    -easy handling
-NOT fuel efficient as I got 9.8L per 100km
-Very small fuel tank and many trips to the petrol station, irritating
-Fuel consumption is not as claimed by Kia to be 4.8L per 100km
    - If you are looking for fuel economy, don't believe the rated figure

2.0i (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
RON95, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
Bought an XV since July 13 and its been absolute blast to drive. Have traveled down south to Singapore, up Gentings and to Penang a few times. Subaru's AWD handles very well on wet and twisty roads...feels I'm driving a car instead of a tall SUV.
Interior is a bit boring but functions well. Cabin is spacious but results in very small boot and is not suitable if you have young family, won't have any space left once you put a baby stroller in!

The size, shape and sporty design with the affordable price of the vehicle is just suitable for me as a freshmen in the market.
It feel much more solid than the previous MyVi EZI 1.3 model.
Feel solid like a foreign products and makes more more confident with our own country vehicle.
    Harder suspension and better cornering.

Lousy sound system which didnt give enough sounds quality with bass like previous batch MyVi.
They should make the sound proof better for the floor.
The front disc rotor and break pad is too small and cause the breaking is not so efficient.

The gadgets are fantastic. When I was looking for a new second car, I was looking at other C-Segment main contenders; Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, VW Jetta, Toyota Altis, Kia Cerato and Proton Inspira. I compared the price, running costs, performance, equipment, comfort and ride, and also fuel consumption. And thenI also came across[...]
The KIA brand itself is normally associated with cheap and unattractive cars. KIA has grown and improved so much since then. The resale value is strong ever since they introduced the Forte. The build quality is brilliant. The design is sleek. Lots of modern equipment for GREAT value.

Good torque and effortless overtaking and pickup! Smooth long journey cruiser. Wonderful sound system! Very economy on fuel consumption when drive with good anticipation and moderate speed. one can easily achieved 5.9L/100km on highway and free traffic road in Malaysian wheather (aircond on, music on)
Elastic feel the gearbox... as it is CVT (Multitronic). Steering feel a little artificial. Suspension a tad too stiff even in Comfort mode.

Advanced 5-Door with Tech Pack (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 12.5 km/litre (8.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,500 km/month
Excellent build quality with a very stiff chassis
    No turbo lag
More than ample power due to the high amount of torque
    Very good handling
The DCC drive profile selection is fun to use
The front seats are very firm, not comfortable
Small 5.8" screen although it behaves like a smart phone screen
    No LED rear lights
    Limited colour choices available
Not a con - don't upgrade to the 19" rims, it will be very harsh. The stock 18" is good enough.

    - Sounds cliche but, magic seats are really useful sometimes to carry tall items.

    - CVT gearbox is jerky at low speeds, especially during traffic jams, multiplied by electric motor which cuts in and out and jerks it even more. Apparently its normal; I brought it to two service centers and the reply was "it's normal lah". At speed the car is smooth nevertheless.
