-The space and some of the specs like Automatic side mirrors, the touch screen player as well as the space.

    -Braking system needs improvement.
-not comfortable when taking a corner even at 80km.

Reliability. Car has been mostly problem-free for past 5 years. Engine working in excellent condition, comfort-oriented drive, handling is adequate though having noticeable body roll during corners. So far, after 5 years of usage, I have only needed repairs to the air-condition once (magnetic coil was faulty) and the suspension on right back tyr[...]
Handling needs improvement. It can be bore if you are sporting enthusiast. While driving on highways, I find the car lacks power to accelerate and when driving corners, there is slight body roll. Exterior looks somehow makes car look bulbous with rounded edges. Audio unit is basic with only CD/MP3 functions. No VSC, TC, only 2 airbags

Fuel Economy: 10.0 km/litre (10.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    1. The exterior design is easy on the eye. Very good looking at times. The rear light is gorgeous.
    2. The interior is spacious. Air conditioner is great! Boot is massive.
    3. The ride and handling is very good. Much better than the more-expensive cars. really easy to corner at high speed.
    4. The engine is decent. suitable for this size of car.[...]
    1. Looks a bit old. The front end looks too common now. the facelift didn't do that much on the overall looks.
    2. interior is outdated. the radio is unacceptably old-fashioned.
    3. bad fuel efficiency.
    4. rear seats are a bit upright. bad for long journeys.
    5. bad braking performance.

Fuel Economy: 12.0 km/litre (8.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
It looks quite nice on the outside, with all the flowing lines. By far this has to be the best Hyundai design under Fluidic Sculpture, before the Storm Edge design took over with the new Santa Fe. The rear looks really nice, though no LED rear lights, oddly.

Rear seats are fairly spacious, with decent legroom, though the sloping roof does int[...]
Unfortunately the Elantra being built by Inokom lacks in quality, a lot. For a start, things like the AC fan speed control feels loose and not tactile, unlike something in the Cerato or a VW. Then there is the so called Nappa leather which feels more like rubber-PVC than anything else. Yes the red sticking is nice, but honestly, it feels nasty. [...]

Bought used, Owned for 3 Years
Fuel Economy: 11.0 km/litre (9.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
The looks in the front is not a revolution like the FD Civic that came before it, but rather an evolution of it. It looks sharp even without the bodykit, and in 2.0S guise, the rims fit the car really well. The face that Honda created with the Civic in the FD generation has become rather unmistakable, which is nice.

    Inside, the Civic is rathe[...]
One of the biggest issues with the Civic is the ugly rear. Compared to the FD, this one looks downright hideous. The older FD still looks nicer at the back, though Honda fixed it in the 2013 refresh for the US market. Honda Malaysia needs to bring it in ASAP.

Also, it is surprising the Civic only has a pathetic 2 airbag system in the 1.8, whi[...]

Fuel Economy: 11.0 km/litre (9.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
This is on the 2013 first batch unit, not the slightly updated for 2014 unit with 6 airbags.

Build quality is surprisingly not too bad for a Hyundai, inside and out it feels well screwed together. The exterior is a love it or hate it thing, I kind of like the way it looks, though I prefer the turbo variant's bigger grille. The interior is sma[...]
For one, it was the name, Veloster. Veloster was supposed to be a Velocity Roadster. They got the roadster part right, but not the Velocity part, sadly. Unfortunately the car is too heavy for the tiny 1.6 engine. In the city it is OK, but getting up to speeds takes a bit of time, and patience. The sound made by the 1.6 Gamma engine is not inspir[...]

The engine in this thing is really good, for a 1.6 it is perfect for the size, packs a good punch too! It is quite smooth and nice to drive this little car with this engine.

Being French, it looks really nice in person. The stubby nose in front looks kinda cute, with the nice LED lights in front. The rear LED brake lights with the triple claw[...]
Glovebox is comical. Being French, it has a nearly useless glovebox cause of the fuse box which the French forgot to bring to the right side of the car when they converted it to a RHD car.

Automatic transmission is again Peugeot's punishment to us for not loving the manual. It is slow and is like undecided. In fact it feels like it goes into [...]

Fuel Economy: 13.0 km/litre (7.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
Looks way more expensive than it is, especially the rear. The LEDs at the back are so beautiful, in fact I would say this has to be the best Kia on the road, together with the Optima. It looks and feels nothing like how the Forte was, which felt like it was built to a price. The front end looks nice too. Love the interesting feature where the mi[...]
Flex steer is the biggest waste Hyundai/Kia did when developing this. Comfort mode makes it too light, sport feels unnecessarily heavy and lumpy. I initially used sport for a short while but went back to normal after that.

Fuel Economy: 11.0 km/litre (9.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
One of the best looking compact hatches you could possibly buy. It makes the Germanic VW Polo look too sterile, or the overdone Fiesta look a bit funny. In fact, from a distance the untrained eye will never guess it is a Kia. Looks best in the higher SX grade, as it comes with the nicer rims.

On the inside, the Rio oozes quality compared to [...]
It was a bit sad that the EX variant got no fog lights, no keyless entry and decent rims, but again, considering the price, it doesn't seem too bad. You do get what you pay for.

Steering is a big issue for me in the Rio. It is the lightest steering I think and is absolutely without any weight or feel. While light steering is good, it does not[...]

    1) Built quality - the gaps (exterior panels) are too "unacceptable"!

This car is absolutely stunning to look at with swooping rooflines and aggressive stance. It drives like a dream, with additional power that is obvious in its reserves. It takes corners like a train stuck to its rails. It accelerates with poise and supplemented with engine noise that roars in like a lion on the prowl.

Given that it is a sports coupe, the suspension is more tuned to energetic drives. In the city, while comfortable, can feel a bit hard. But nowhere as hard as some others I have driven.

A rather decent tourer. Considering that not many buy tourers in Malaysia, this is a welcome move that Hyundai is bringing the tourer in. For me, it is the most beautiful wagon out there especially the back, unlike on some other wagons that look like got strapped on a sedan.

Aftersales by Hyundai Malaysia is a hit and miss. Service to defect rectification is generally slow and a bit unprofessional. This is despite taking it to a Hyundai 3S centre. This is probably the best B segment car you could buy, hands down. If you are looking for a B segment sedan, regardless if it is Japanese or German (Polo Sedan), you must pay the Honda dealer a visit. You will be amazed.

A glaring omission was that there is no satnav in the touchscreen unit. This is a hugely spacious car. If you need a car that could potentially swallow your whole 'kampung' into the boot and your family in the back seat, this is it. Not sure how Renault's engineers did this in a C segment car, but it beats some of those D segment sedans that costs 3 times the price!

Comfort and serenity is also another big thing [...]
It was a bit of a disappointment that Renault MY decided not to bring in the newer face of the Fluence with the larger Renault grille. Also, the rear is a bit weirdly stylised in my opinion, in the sense that it looks a bit generic and boring. In fact, that is one thing, the Fluence doesn't look French enough, as generally French cars look naugh[...]
