3.5G (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 3 Years
Fuel Economy: 5.5 km/litre (18.2 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
Legs room and head room. Seats are quite comfy and interior is quite quiet.
The car is huge and bulky, engine performance is not that good and fuel economy is really bad (avg. 5.5-6.5km/l).
Handling is not really good (steering is too light, although it's really nice to steer during stand still).

Bought new, Owned for 3 Years
Fuel Economy: 20.0 km/litre (5.0 L/100 km), RON95
    - I believe this is the most affordable full hybrid car on the road which easily hit 650KM plus with filling up full tank fuel of RM65 only
    - Handling and suspension is surprising good for a small car like this
    - Lots of features like keyless entry, cruise control, headlight leveling, hill stop assist, retractable side mirror, digital and col[...]
    - wind and road noise
    - engine noise/rattle is obvious during idle when the battery is low and petrol engine kick in
    - car interior is small (myvi is more spacious in my opinion)

Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 15.0 km/litre (6.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
Looks of the CX5 is really good. Compared to the CRV which is the CX5's direct competitor, the CX5 looks much better than the Honda on the outside. The front grille gives it a very imposing look, and so does the rear. What is interesting is for the price, it looks too good. Especially in the blue colour that is used in the promotional material. [...]
Space is not the CX5's strong point unfortunately. The front is OK, not extremely spacious compared to the CRV. As for the rear, the CRV despite the lack of leather seats in the 2.0 version, feels more comfortable with the nice soft seats compared to the CX5. Also boot space is somehow a bit smaller in the CX5 and there are not that many magic [...]

Bought new, Owned for 3 Years
Fuel Economy: 13.0 km/litre (7.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
    *Good handling
*Stable during high speed on highways.
*Speed meter contains with useful informations for example fuel consumption, time, hours of engine running, distance of current fuel level.
*Aerodynamic design of the car gives sportier looks.
*Rear boot compartment is big, which helps to bring more stuffs.
    *Value for the money.
    *Wind and Body noise
    *Brake not efficient
*For manual transmission, the throttle response is very slow especially when accelerating, overtaking.
*Seats not comfortable when long drive mainly driver seat.
*Power window regulators always making unpleasant noise while operating.

SV CVT (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 5 Years
Fuel Economy: 10.0 km/litre (10.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    Reasonably spacious + Good legroom
Ideal for a first car (fresh graduates don't really have much choices due to the high tax imposed on foreign car makers)
Low road tax and insurance to maintain (ideal for those tight on budget and just need a car for relatively short distance travelling)
Fuel consumption is VERY POOR. Clocked around 10km/litre since its mostly 90% town driving for me.
Mine is the BLM without the CVT gearbox, thus explains the higher fuel consumption and rather noisy engine rev when you are on the highway (4th gear at 100km/h on a 1.3 litre can be a total nightmare)
Suspension starts to become poor after just 2[...]

Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 11.5 km/litre (8.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 600 km/month
-Good looks(Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.)
-Good fuel economy, although the 1.5 litre variant sips more fuel.
-Good low end to mid end torque. 0-100kmh is some 11+ seconds for the AT. The manual version can manage 9+ seconds if done properly.
-Ride comfort is reasonable despite the harder set up.
    -Very evenly weighted electric ste[...]
-Low end driving dynamics.(Can't complain though)
-Build quality deteriorates as wear and tear kicks in. Mine started after 2 years.
-Ride & Handling is rather poor. Body roll is bad with unpredictable chassis flex so it doesn't inspire confidence during a corner. Thus, intermediate cornering skills are needed for occasional spirited driving. [...]

Bought new, Owned for 4 Years
Fuel Economy: 17.0 km/litre (5.9 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 200 km/month
Since this car is a CBU unit from Japan, the built quality is something that can be proud of. Fuel consumption is good, able to reach 700 km on a single tank of fuel. Door closes with reassuring thump, and switches are tactile in action.
2 airbags, no ESP is a major letdown. Engine noise is highly pronounce when push beyond 3000 rpm.

Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 12.0 km/litre (8.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
Fuel Efficient for MPV within the class. Puchong/Mont Kiara weekday drive & weekend rural drive.
Reasonable quiet & comfortable for the sub-100K MPV
Good handling. making corner at 60~80km/h very smooth.
Look good compare to previous model.
1.6 a bit underpower. But more than enough for normal family car. don't expect pushing when you ramp.
    Maybe 1.8 can perform better.
Engine noise remarkable increase upon speed 120km/h.
less spacious legroom for 2nd row.

1.) Loved the look and feel. Elegant and Muscular. Really like the side profile of this car.
2.) The interior is great, soft touch, good quality finishing, comfortable leather seats. I like the chrome finishing around the air con vents, little details like this adds up.

1.) the overseas teana has more features, for eg. gps navigation, lane watch, side camera and memory seats.
2.) The infotainment screen is too small, and no touch screen! The camera view is a bit too low and too small to see.
3.) fuel consumption. Average i guess, still havent driven this enough to prove the point. But so far it is ok but n[...]

-it was kinda worthy that bought 1.6L vehicle with a price below RM 50k .
-Good on Handling and cornering while hitting to above 80km .
-SAT mode was useful while overtaking as it similar like 6-speed auto with the high acceleration.
-the sound system is quite good as it was only 4 speaker, but given enough bass and surround .
    -air-condition[...]
-the NVH from Saga is kinda worst as even the speed only 40km/h but it the road and tyre was noisy .
-The CVT gearbox was not responsive well as was not smooth as you though .

Rates a STAR as it LORDs over any other vehicle in its price range in terms of leg space and head room.
Though not a powerful as a ROCKET it is nimble as a RACCOON for its size.
It has a certain appeal being sleek like GAMORA

-The turn radius is what I like the most. Previously owned a Proton Gen.2 which have the worst turn radius, can't even make a proper U-turn without me backing up to avoid going up the curbs.
-Love the steering electric power steering. A hoot to use in the shopping mall parking space.
-The fuel mileage is really good. Not that hard on my wallet[...]
-Really noisy when driving on the highway anything above 100km/h.
-The engine really need to be push hard to gain momentum not like the MK1 Myvi.
-The automatic gear box feel really old and slow
-Feel a lot more smaller then the previous Myvi model. Head space is really limited.
