    - Powerful car even in ECO drive mode.
    - Very smooth start up compared to other cars (jerk) of DCT transmission.

    - Gear knob is small, easy to change ge[...]
    - Sometimes, door auto-unlock function is not sensitive enough when driver walks near the car, but still acceptable as driver can use smart key to unlock the doors.
    - Only one USB port is provided at the rear; two should be provided.

1.6 Active CVT (2023)
Bought new, Owned for 3 Years
Fuel Economy: 9.0 km/litre (11.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 9 km/month
The Proton Iriz is an enjoyable car to drive. My brother uses it to go work from home to Cyberjaya and drives back and forth.
Ride and handling are really comfortable.
    Cold air conditioner.
The GKUI system is completely useless
The navigation system also gives the worst road
At 15K mileage the engine gasket started to leak
At 36K mileage, the car has a Terrible window actuator quality, I claimed warranty after that back right side got broken and well had to claim warranty again
    Not a fuel-efficient car

X (2023)
Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 18.0 km/litre (5.6 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,682 km/month
    - Excellent fuel economy, making it very budget-friendly for daily use.
    - Noticeably more stable than the previous-generation Axia.
    - Equipped with LED headlights, which improve visibility at night.
    - Seats are comfortable for short to medium trips.
    - The engine tends to growl even on small inclines, which can be distracting.
    - At higher speeds, especially when overtaking a lorry on the right lane, the car can feel slightly unstable, causing a drop in driver confidence.
    - Long-distance travel can feel tiring and less comfortable overall.
    - Lacks basic media controls (play, pause, next) o[...]

Ultra Twin Performance (2025)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 18.0 km/litre (5.6 L/100 km), Electric, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
    - The EX30 has an excellent design, slick styling, and a fun driving character.
    - As an EV, it delivers on performance and efficiency the concept is exactly what I wanted in a modern compact electric vehicle.
    - Great seats & comfort.
    - In under four months of ownership the vehicle has already spent over 35 days in the workshop due to recurring faults "Electrical Fault, Do not Drive - contact dealer" that have led to my wife and children to be stranded. Unacceptable for a new car.
    - Despite the long downtime, no courtesy car was provided by Volvo Malaysia, leaving me withou[...]

Fuel Economy: 15.0 km/litre (6.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,500 km/month
I will place my review base on the pricing of the car itself

    Big boot volume

Handling is OK tho if drive below 120km/h. More than enough for an entry level car

Interior build quality feels durable enough to withstand years of usage

NVH is good enough for a car that build to last at this price. U can hear outside car but still reduced[...]
Big boot volume but in terms of height and depth, the width is small i think

Handling is light at above 120km/h, feels the "sampan"ness

Internal build quality although feels tough, but it does feel hollow and displaced a little when exerting some force

NVH is not great from tyre, u can really hear the tyre noise when going thru old tar

Premium (2024)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 5.0 km/litre (20.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 500 km/month
    - Handling: Very sharp steering, nimble and compose also very comfortable. You get a very posh city car with the hint and eagerness of a turbocharged car. Absolute bliss.

    - Ride: Firm but not at that level that sacrificed your comfort.

    - Acceleration: Always eager and deliver. Easily overtaking cars like hot knife on a smooth thick butter.
    - Space: Unfortunately only comfortable enough for two people. The boot also not that big at 315litres. Good enough for short get away trip for two. Almost impossible for family with 2 kids.

    - Conveniences: Quite annoying loading time once you enter the car. Also, there are at times, the car sounded like a robot during idle.

Fuel Economy: 14.0 km/litre (7.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,800 km/month
    - The cars sound insulation is excellent, far beyond others in this price range
    - The car feels very stable at high speeds, without any sense of instability
    - The engine is powerful, making it easy to drive both on highways and small roads
    - The front seat leg support is a bit too low, which makes long drives uncomfortable
    - At low speeds or in stop-and-go traffic, there is some jerkiness
    - Trunk storage space.

Fuel Economy: 18.0 km/litre (5.6 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,800 km/month
1- Fuel consumption for long distance drive is good but city drive is bad. 300km+ per tank but not a deal breaker
2- Aircond is cold enough for most of the time unlike Gen1 and Gen2.
3- Exterior Design is clean and nice:
4- Aerodynamic is good like Gen3 but still improvement is needed.
    5- Reliability is assured expected.
1- CVT noise is too loud.
2- Car body roll is worse than Gen3.
3- Car seat 40:60 is the stupidest design ever
4- Car headlamp is terrible. Hardly able to see anything especially raining. Gen 3 is still better and Gen3 headlamp is more focused.
5- Steering without pull out is bad. Since Perodua made the car smaller, at least give us the stee[...]
